A California man is making his way across the country to raise awareness for those who have rare diseases. Noah Coughlan started his trek in New York. This morning he made his way through Roanoke on his way to San Diego. The Napa Valley Police academy graduate says his inspiration came from two girls he went to church with when he was younger, diagnosed with Batten disease. Noah Coughlan; i believe that every life matters. If you have a rare disease or a common disease, i think that we should all get the same chance to fight respective cause. This is Coughlan’s third run across the country. He plans to make it to San Diego by July 4th.
