Day 27-

This all started as just an idea. The rarity and lack of awareness for two friends battling Batten Disease bothered me.

No script, no blueprint, just a Leap of Faith x3. Just wanted to help. Much has been done with many other people contributing their own time and efforts for Batten Disease and Rare Disease Awareness on these 3 respective 2011, 2013, 2015 Runs. I am eternally grateful for their contributions. I give God all the glory. It’s by his Grace I’ve made it this far. It’s all been worth it. Thank you all for the years of support.

This is the final act of the trilogy. This is my final Run across America. My body can’t take much more. The story finally ends in 100 days at Ocean Beach in San Diego on July 4th. I End the journey at the Start. The final step of 2015 will be at exact same spot I took the first step in 2011.

I survived Winter. Appalachians this week, tornadic storm threats next two months, and the Southwest deserts as the last hurdle. 100 days, 2,500+ miles left…..The first 27 days was the warmup….now……out of the frying pan, and into the Fire. The reality of the Road ahead.
