There has not been a greater opportunity to advance policy to improve drug development for Rare Disease patients since the passage of the Orphan Drug Act of 1983 more than 30 years ago.

The Rare Disease community is grateful to have a chance to be a part of the development of this historic legislation.

With nearly 30 million Americans affected by Rare Diseases, 21st Century Cures represents the greatest hope for cures and treatments for our community.
